Sault-Shields Project (Cu – U/Th/K – REE)

CMH recently staked in excess of 25 contiguous claims in the Shields township of the Sault Ste. Marie (SSM) area. The SSM is a historic gold and copper district which includes dozens of historic mine sites and the current Soo Copper Project from Sterling Metals.

The Ontario Resident Geologist (ORG) program highlighted the potential for uranium, copper, and rare-earth elements (REEs) in the claim area in the ORG Recommendations for Exploration 2025-2026 report.

The bedrock geology of Ontario, east-central sheet (1991) provides an overview of geological setting.

Historical exploration completed and report by others includes:
Surface grab samples up to 12.48% Cu (1966 trenching – link to GeologyOntario assessment file 41K16SE0024) and associated diamond drilling (1964 diamond drilling – link to GeologyOntario assessment file 41K16SE0029).

Drillholes reporting up to 175 feet of 0.62% Cu averaged from core samples from 1955/1956 (Assessment file 41K16SW9999 summarizing drilling grades dated in GeologyOntario as 1966, but references 1955/1956 information, possible dating error). Diamon drilling and magnetic survey reports for Wolfe Lake zone consolidated under Mineral Record MDI41K16SE00003.

Elevated uranium, potassium, and thorium in surface samples/readings (2011 Report of Radiometric Survey of Shields Township) identifying “widespread anomalous Thorium and Uranium throughout the Granite phase“.

2026 Program Plan: CMH intend to return to these historical copper occurrences to complete modern geophysics (e.g., induced polarization or other methods) to evaluate the potential extent and geometry of underground copper mineralization, and to collect additional surface samples in the areas of previously reported high-grade copper.

2026 Program Funding: CMH are working with private investors and are preparing applications for funding from the Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP). CMH intend to issue private flow through shares to maximize shareholder value through the use of the federal Critical Mineral Exploration Tax Credit and other incentives.
